خلاصه داستان
در اولین ماموریتش،گروهبان "دروگو" به قلعه ای در مرز بیایان و کوهستان فرستاده می شود.ماموریت پادگان جلوگیری از حمله احتمالی تارتارها از طرف دیگر بیابان است.برخی افسران مشتاقانه منتظر حمله هستند،برخی دیگر اعتقادی به آن ندارند و برخی از تهدید مبهم استفاده می کنند تا حرفه کاری خود را به جلو ببرند.اما آنها همه چیز خود را قربانی کرده اند...
