Jon Macks

'Jon Macks' (qv) is a comedy writer and award show writer who continues to work as a political consultant and speech writer for Democratic candidates for United States Senate, Governor and President. Among his political clients in 2018 are U.S.Senators Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren, John Kerry, Ray Mabus, and the Virginia Democratic Party. Every four years since 1996, he has been part of the debate prep team for the Democratic nominee for President.He has been a writer or head writer on 22 Academy 'Awards' (qv), which may be the all time record; and writes speeches and special material projects for a wide range of clients including Helen Mirren, Michael Douglas, Hugh Jackman, Chris Rock, Billy Crystal.
