Mark Wingett

'Mark Wingett' (qv)'s first stand out role was Dave in the cult hit _Quadrophenia (1979)_ (qv), the film version of 'The Who' (qv)'s hit album. Mark acted alongside 'Phil Daniels' (qv), 'Sting' (qv), 'Phil Davis' (qv), 'Toyah Willcox' (qv), 'Trevor Laird' (qv), 'Ray Winstone' (qv) and a host of other names. _Quadrophenia (1979)_ (qv) has gone on to be one of the Classics of British Cinema. Wingett also appeared in other films including; _Breaking Glass (1980)_ (qv) with 'Hazel O'Connor' (qv) and 'Jonathan Pryce' (qv). He is also a regular on the British Stage both as Actor and Director, he appeared in a number of productions at The 'Royal Court Theatre [gb]' including; 'Edward Bond' (qv)'s "Saved" and "The Pope's Wedding" alongside 'Gary Oldman' (qv) and 'Joanne Whalley' (qv). A well-known face on Television, with regular roles on _The Bill (1984)_ (qv) and _EastEnders (1985)_ (qv), he has since returned to the Silver Screen to appear in _Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)_ (qv) (with 'Charlize Theron' (qv) and 'Kristen Stewart' (qv)), Franklyn (with 'Eva Green' (qv) and 'Ryan Phillippe' (qv)) and Intruders (with 'Clive Owen' (qv)).::Steve Thomas
