Klaus Voormann

'Klaus Voormann' (qv) is most famous for designing the cover of the 1966 Beatles album "Revolver" and for playing bass guitar on 'John Lennon' (qv)'s "Imagine" album. Voormann dated famous photographer 'Astrid Kirchherr' (qv) until she fell in love with 'The Beatles' (qv)' original bassist, 'Stuart Sutcliffe' (qv), and left him. He first met 'The Beatles' (qv) at a gig in Hamburg. He appeared in the 1980 live action version of _Popeye (1980)_ (qv).::Jesse Pollack
