'Rachel True' (qv) has been working for most of the 1990s. She broke into the business with a pair of guest roles on the NBC sitcom _The Cosby Show (1984)_ (qv) In 1993, Rachel moved to L.A.; she then appeared in the rap parody _CB4 (1993)_ (qv) with 'Chris Rock' (qv). She also landed another pair of guest spots on the HBO sitcom _Dream On (1990)_ (qv). She made guest appearances on several other television series, including _Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990)_ (qv) and _Boston Common (1996)_ (qv). Television movies followed, including _Moment of Truth: Stalking Back (1993)_ (qv) and _A Walton Wedding (1995)_ (qv). In 1994, she was seen alongside 'Alyssa Milano' (qv) in the erotic thriller _Embrace of the Vampire (1995)_ (qv).It was in 1996 that the biracial actress started getting noticed by the press, after appearing as a teenage witch in the cult hit _The Craft (1996)_ (qv). Following that came the indie flick _Nowhere (1997)_ (qv), and then she played 'Dave Chappelle' (qv)'s romantic interest in _Half Baked (1998)_ (qv). During 1997, she also had a role on the ABC sitcom _The Drew Carey Show (1995)_ (qv). In 1999, she was seen in another ABC sitcom, _Once and Again (1999)_ (qv).
