Gordon Tootoosis

A Canadian actor of Cree and Stoney descent, Gordon Tootosis made his film debut in the western film _Ferner Donner (1974)_ (qv) with 'Donald Sutherland' (qv) and 'Chief Dan George' (qv). Tootoosis provided memorable performances in television and movies, including the role of 'One Stab' in _Legends of the Fall (1994)_ (qv), the role of 'Growling Bear' in the 'Steven Spielberg' (qv) produced miniseries _Into the West (2005)_ (qv) and the role of 'Chief Red Cloud' in the HBO film _Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007)_ (qv). His television credits include guest appearances on _Erben des Fluchs (1987)_ (qv), _MacGyver (1985)_ (qv), _Northern Exposure (1990)_ (qv), _The X-Files (1993)_ (qv), _The Magnificent Seven (1998)_ (qv) and _Smallville (2001)_ (qv).
