Jeroen Spitzenberger

'Jeroen Spitzenberger' (qv) (1976) is best known internationally for his supporting role in the Oscar-nominated film _Die Zwillinge (2002)_ (qv), which went on to be a hit with critics and film lovers worldwide.In 1998 he graduated from the Institute of Arts in Arnhem. Ever since he is a beloved stage and screen actor and generally considered one of the most versatile Dutch actors. His past credits include roles in local box office hits such as _Love Is All (2007)_ (qv), opposite 'Carice van Houten' (qv) (_Game of Thrones (2011)_ (qv)), as well as popular TV series such as the immensely popular _Divorce (2012)_ (qv), which went on to air for four seasons. Recent feature film credits include lead roles in the family film _Hilfe, unser Lehrer ist ein Frosch! (2016)_ (qv), based on a famous Dutch children's book about a teacher who happens to be able to change into a frog, and _A Real Vermeer (2016)_ (qv), about notorious Dutch art forger Han van Meegeren, who is often called 'one of the greatest art forgers of the Twentieth Century'. On the small screen he played one of the lead roles in _Flight HS13 (2016)_ (qv), based on a Turkish thriller series, and both seasons of _Suspects (2017)_ (qv), based on the UK TV series of the same name.Jeroen is also at home on stage. He performed in plays such as Midsummernight's Dream, Romeo & Juliet, PPP (about Pier Paolo Passolini) and in Venus in Fur.
