Jordana Ariel Spiro was born on April 12, 1977 in Manhattan, New York. She was raised in Manhattan and studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. She also briefly attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Spiro splits her time between Los Angeles and New York. In addition to acting, Spiro has a passion for photography and has produced and directed several shorts. In fall 2009, she began the MFA Program in Filmmaking at Columbia University.Spiro begun her acting career in the 1990's appearing in mostly comedic TV shows and TV movies: _Maybe This Time (1995)_ (qv), _Her Last Chance (1996)_ (qv), _If These Walls Could Talk (1996)_ (qv), _Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997)_ (qv), _Silk Stalkings (1991)_ (qv), _Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990)_ (qv) and _City Guys (1997)_ (qv). She got her first recurring roles on _One World (1998)_ (qv) and _Undressed (1999)_ (qv). Her first regular role was on the short lived _The Huntress (2000)_ (qv) as 'Annette O'Toole' (qv)'s bounty hunter daughter. After The Huntress she mostly guest starred on TV shows, such as _Out of Practice (2005)_ (qv), _CSI: NY (2004)_ (qv), _Cold Case (2003)_ (qv) and had a recurring role on _JAG (1995)_ (qv) as Lt. Catherine Graves.She also appeared in feature films: _Must Love Dogs (2005)_ (qv), _Partner(s) (2005)_ (qv), _Alone with Her (2006)_ (qv), _Living & Dying (2007)_ (qv), _The Year of Getting to Know Us (2008)_ (qv) and _Trespass (2011)_ (qv). She starred in TBS' comedy _My Boys (2006)_ (qv) as P.J., a twenty-something guy's girl, who tries to find romance within her world dominated by male friends. "My Boys" ended in 2010 after four seasons. She also appeared in 'Neal Brennan' (qv)'s _The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009)_ (qv) opposite 'Jeremy Piven' (qv), 'Ed Helms' (qv) and 'Rob Riggle' (qv). In 2011, she had a recurring role on _Harry's Law (2011)_ (qv) as Rachael Miller. She also guest starred on _Dexter (2006)_ (qv) and had a recurring role as Detective Jenna Villette on _The Good Wife (2009)_ (qv). She was the lead on _The Mob Doctor (2012)_ (qv), but unfortunately it was cancelled after 13 episodes. Besides guest starring on _Tyrant (2014)_ (qv) and _Royal Pains (2009)_ (qv), she has had a recurring role since 2015 on NBC's hit _Blindspot (2015)_ (qv) as Sarah Weller.::imoth
