Marina Berti

Elena Maureen Bertolini, known as 'Marina Berti' (qv), was an English-born Italian film actress. Her first screen appearance was in the 'Anna Magnani' (qv) film, _La fuggitiva (1941)_ (qv). She appeared mainly in small roles and in the occasional leading role in nearly 100 films, both Italian and American. She appeared in such films as _Quo Vadis (1951)_ (qv), _Abdullah's Harem (1955)_ (qv), _Ben-Hur (1959)_ (qv), _Madame Sans Gêne (1963)_ (qv), _Cleopatra (1963)_ (qv), _If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium (1969)_ (qav), _Moses the Lawgiver (1975)_ and _Jesus of Nazareth (1977)_ (qv).
