Attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, graduating in 1994.Graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1999. Majored in English.Shortly after graduating from Georgetown University, 'Jonathan Nolan' (qv) served as a production assistant on _Memento (2000)_ (qv).Wrote the short story, "Memento Mori", on which the film _Memento (2000)_ (qv) is based.Was co-writer, with his brother 'Christopher Nolan' (qv), on _The Prestige (2006)_ (qv), _The Dark Knight (2008)_ (qv) and _The Dark Knight Rises (2012)_ (qv).
