بیوگرافی
'Brendee Green' (qv) is a Canadian actress, writer, singer, and director. During and after graduating from a four-year theatre degree program at York University, she worked in Canadian television and film productions, such as the CFC produced Molly Maxwell, directed by Sara St. Onge, for which her original song "Stay" was licensed. Shortly thereafter she performed the recurring role of Denise in Global's Rookie Blue, and made guest appearances on The Listener and Hannibal before moving to British Columbia.During her time on the West Coast, Brendee continued working in film and television, where, on an episode of Proof (Jennifer Beals) she met Patrick Currie (Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica). Green and Currie collaborated as co-writers on the Crazy 8's produced LGBT short Meet Cute, which won funding and support through a rigorous interview and pitching process, beating out many other applicants in the Crazy 8s world. Green went on to play one of the lead roles in the film (Riley), while Currie directed. Recently Meet Cute became available on OutTV after finishing a successful festival circuit.Green spent two years living and working in the UK, where she performed in two Sony Home Pictures features directed by Andrew Jones. There she also directed a stage production of David Auburn's Proof at the Courtyard Theatre in London, and performed the role of Portia in a stage production of Julius Caesar produced by Spada Productions.Upon her return to Toronto, Ether, a play written by Green, premiered at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival produced by White Mills Theatre Co., a company which went on to produce a site-specific immersive production of A Christmas Carol at Toronto's Spadina Museum last Christmas, in which Green played the role of the Ghost of Christmas Present.Green kept busy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing quarantine of 2020. She wrote/directed/shot and edited two short films which she produced and performed in herself in isolation, and can be found on YouTube (Into Ether, inspired by the play she wrote, and Sense, a short film about ghosts of those passing throughout COVID-19 as they haunt the protagonist). She also continues to hone her skills as a writer, working on a number of screenplays. Regardless of whatever may or may not stand in her way, Green's passion for storytelling continues to motivate her focus.::'Brendee Green' (qv)
