Lisa Nicole Carson

'Lisa Nicole Carson' (qv) has the distinction of having simultaneously starred in television's most lauded comedy and drama series. She has both amused audiences as Renee Radick, the D.A. roommate of 'Calista Flockhart' (qv) on Fox's _Ally McBeal (1997)_ (qv) and riveted them as Carla Reese, the mother of 'Eriq La Salle' (qv)'s son on NBC's _ER (1994)_ (qv). Carson has been repeatedly nominated for a variety of awards as a result of these credits. Additional forays into television include the series _Divas (1995)_ (qv) and guest turns on _Law & Order (1990)_ (qv), as well as the telefilm _Aftershock: Earthquake in New York (1999)_ (qv). Her feature credits are just as impressive. Among her many roles are the comedy _Life (1999)_ (qv) with 'Eddie Murphy' (qv) and 'Martin Lawrence' (qv), the temptress in _Eve's Bayou (1997)_ (qv) with 'Samuel L. Born in Brooklyn, and having spent her teen years in Gainesville, Florida - graduating from Buchholz High School in June 1987 - Lisa moved to New York City after graduation to live with her grandmother and pursue an acting.
