Mimi Kennedy

Kennedy ignited her acting career on stage opposite television comedian 'Sid Caesar' (qv). Thereon, she delivered supporting yet memorable performance in several short-lived television comedies, including _3 Girls 3 (1977)_ (qv), _Stockard Channing in Just Friends (1979)_ (qv), _The Two of Us (1981)_ (qv) and _Family Man (1988)_ (qv). Later, Kennedy had a recurring role on the television sitcom _Dharma & Greg (1997)_ (qv), in the series she played Dharma's mother, Abby. Kennedy went on to the join the cast of _Mom (2013)_ (qv), in which she is Marjorie, the twelve-step sponsor of the lead characters (played by 'Anna Faris' (qv) and 'Allison Janney' (qv)).
