Tom Avni

'Tom Avni' (qv) was born in 1986 and got his first taste of fame at the age of 3 when he got a guest appearance in the Israeli classic children show "Parpar Nehchmad". at the age of 5, little 'Tom Avni' (qv) was a big fan of the famous mime performer "Hanoch Rosen", and had some pretty surprising moves for a child of his age. Rosen, who saw the child do impressions of himself, was very much impressed.5 years later in 1996, 'Tom Avni' (qv) got a lead role as "Mowgly" in Rosen's critically acclaimed children's play "The Jungle Book". The play won the award for "best children's play". A year later, Avni was in the traditional children's festival a.k.a. "Pestigal". also directed by Rosen.In 1998 he played the title role in _Super Boy (1998)_ (qv), once again directed by Rosen. The film did not do as well as the 2 plays they did together. Today (2002), 'Tom Avni' (qv) (in his mid-teens) is learning to become a Dolphin Trainer in the Dolphin Reef owned by his father in Eilat.
