Lucy Marie Walsh is an American-Irish stage trained actress. Her stage work already spans dramatic Shakespeare to hilarious Guirgis. Born in Santa Barbara, California into a very musical family, Lucy is also a trained classical pianist and professional singer.Her debut Shakespearean performance as Ariel in "The Tempest", won her a Broadway World nomination for Best Actress. She has gone on to play Shakespeare's most famous heroines, including Cleopatra in "Antony and Cleopatra" (Winner NAACP Theatre 'Awards' (qv)), Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing" (Winner NAACP Theatre 'Awards' (qv)) and Adriana in "Comedy of Errors" (Winner Valley Theatre 'Awards' (qv)). Lucy's additional theatre credits include: Stephen Adly Guirgis' "The Motherfucker With the Hat", Joyce Carol Oates' "I Stand Before You Naked", Renee Taylor/Joe Bologna's "Love Allways", Tina Howe's "The Art of Dining" and "Down On Your Knees and Up To The Moon", an a-cappella musical Lucy co-wrote with the show's New York director Gloria Gifford.In television Lucy is known for her roles on the 9th season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" opposite Elizabeth Banks and Larry David, "NCIS" and "Criminal Minds", directed by the show's Tony-winning star Joe Mantegna. Her feature films include Garry Marshall's final film "Mother's Day" opposite Jason Sudeikis. Lucy's original song "Winter Coat" is also in the film, as the soundtrack to Julia Robert's iconic throwback to Pretty Woman scene. She just completed work on Billy Bob Thornton's new musical film project "And Then We Drove", coming soon.Lucy's father is 'Joe Walsh' (qv) of the 'Eagles' (qv), and her Uncle is 'Ringo Starr' (qv) of The Beatles. Her Grandmother was a pianist for the New York City ballet. Signed to Island Def Jam by Jay Z, Lucy has toured internationally with her music, most recently with Maroon 5, One Republic and Bruno Mars. She has performed on National Television with MTV's hit show "Rock the Cradle", earning the highest judge's score of the season, and described by the show's all-star judge Larry Rudolph (long-time manager of Britney Spears) as "The one to beat". Lucy has sung the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium, for President 'Bill Clinton' (qv), Tiger Woods and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti. Lucy's Roy Orbison cover is featured on his recent "Under the Covers" album. Her music has been recorded by multiple recording artists in several languages, and her original songs have over 1 million plays online.Lucy gravitates towards philanthropic work and is closely involved with charities that include The Alzheimers Foundation (recent sold-out benefit concert in Santa Barbara), The Art of Elysium (for which she plays music in children's hospitals), Angel City Sports (recent National Anthem performance for the organizations annual Paralympic Games), and The Santa Cruz Island Foundation, for which she is preparing to join the Board of Directors.::Craig Boliver
