Sam Jaeger

'Sam Jaeger' (qv) began his professional career in New York, while still attending Otterbein College in Ohio, landing a guest-starring role on _Law & Order (1990)_ (qv). He also spent several seasons doing theater in NY before making the move to Los Angeles. Once in LA, he landed parts in two feature films, _Traffic (2000)_ (qv) and _Behind Enemy Lines (2001)_ (qv). After those standout roles, he won the powerful role, opposite 'Bruce Willis' (qv) and 'Colin Farrell' (qv) in MGM's _Hart's War (2002)_ (qv). In the years following, Jaeger has built an impressive television resume, including roles in such hits as _ER (1994)_ (qv), _CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000)_ (qv), _The West Wing (1999)_ (qv), _NYPD Blue (1993)_ (qv), _Scrubs (2001)_ (qv), _That's Life (2000)_ (qv) and _Girls Club (2002)_ (qv).Jaeger's credits include the A&E biopic, _The Riverman (2004)_ (qv), opposite 'Cary Elwes' (qv) and 'Bruce Greenwood' (qv), and the Indy hit, _Lucky Number Slevin (2006)_ (qv), opposite 'Bruce Willis' (qv) and 'Josh Hartnett' (qv), which was seen at Sundance Film Festival in 2006 and opened nationally to critical acclaim. He was seen in the romantic comedy, _Catch and Release (2006)_ (qv), also starring 'Jennifer Garner' (qv) and 'Kevin Smith' (qv). Written and directed by 'Susannah Grant' (qv), writer of _Erin Brockovich (2000)_ (qv) and _In Her Shoes (2005)_ (qv), the film opened in January 2007.In addition to his film and small screen credits, Jaeger has also co-written and co-produced two short films. The first, "Quiz Bowl", caught the eye of actress 'Kate Bosworth' (qv) (_Superman Returns (2006)_ (qv)), who later agreed to star in his next short, _Advantage Hart (2003)_ (qv). "Advantage Hart" had its premiere at The Hollywood Film Festival. Jaeger's directorial debut, the short _Untold (2009)_ (qv), is a period piece set in his home state of Ohio.Samuel Heath Jaeger was born in Perrysburg, to LeAnne (Graening) and Charles Jaeger.
