He met 'Franco Franchi' (qv) in 1954, and they formed a memorable duo in over 130 films, but he showed his talent in many films of important Italian directors, Fellini, Comencini and Pasolini. His performance in Fellini's film _Amarcord (1973)_ (qv) was memorable. His only son, Giampiero, is an appreciated actor of theatre and television.::[email protected]
