Michael Gothard

Best remembered in Britain for the television series _Arthur of the Britons (1972)_ (qv), 'Ken Russell' (qv) 's _The Devils (1971)_ (qv) and as the villain in _For Your Eyes Only (1981)_ (qv). His break into films came with 'Don Levy' (qv)'s _Herostratus (1967)_ (qv). Michael was unmarried, living in Hampstead, England and under treatment for depression at the time of his suicide in 1992.::Anon (corrections by MO840)
