'Courtney Gains' (qv) first achieved success during the 1980s with a variety of roles in films such _Children of the Corn (1984)_ (qv), _Back to the Future (1985)_ (qv), _Can't Buy Me Love (1987)_ (qv), _Colors (1988)_ (qv), _The 'Burbs (1989)_ (qv) and _Memphis Belle (1990)_ (qv). His most recent credits include _Sweet Home Alabama (2002)_ (qv), _Benny Bliss and the Disciples of Greatness (2009)_ (qv) (which he also produced), _Faster (2010)_ (qv), L.A.Noir (video game) , _Field of Lost Shoes and Fun House Massacre.In addition to his film work, Gains has guest-starred on several notable television shows including _Seinfeld (1989)_ (qv), _Monk (2002)_ (qv), _In the Heat of the Night (1988)_ (qv), _Tales from the Crypt (1989)_ (qv), _ER (1994)_ (qv), _JAG (1995)_ (qv), _Nash Bridges (1996)_ (qv), _Charmed (1998)_ (qv), _Alias (2001)_ (qv), _The Guardian (2001)_ (qv) (recurring role), _"My Name Is Earl" (2005)_, Bones , The Middle, and Mini -Series Texas Rising.Gains has also worked as and acting coach and a musician.
