'June Angela' (qv) received Broadway's Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations as Best Leading Actress for "Shogun" and starred opposite Danny Glover in a 2 character play "Yohen" at East West Players. She's the family psychic Madame Xing on "Fresh Off the Boat" (ABC) and won an Emmy and Grammy Award for her work on the TV series "The Electric Company" with Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno, Performing since age 5, she was Pat Morita's daughter on "Mr T and Tina" (ABC) - the first Asian American sitcom and played his daughter again in a TV drama "Blind Alleys" written by playwright David Henry Hwang. Extensive theater credits include Tuptim in the Broadway and London Palladium revivals of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "The King and I" with Yul Brynner.
