Michael Fishman

'Michael Fishman' (qv) was born in Long Beach, California, the middle of three children, older sister 'Robyn Fishman' (qv) and brother 'Matthew Fishman' (qv). His father, Nelson, was a jeweler, and his mother, Darlene, a nurse and community college professor. His acting career began with his starring role on ABC's award-winning iconic comedy Series _Roseanne (1988)_ (qv). During his nine seasons playing D.J. Conner, he was nominated for numerous awards including winning the Young Star Award. Fishman became known for his timing, ability to handle complex social issues, an detailed nuanced emotion. In 2019 helped establish Mclusive Media, and runs Mutually Inclusive Media, both companies specialize in visceral heartfelt stories that build community and promote inclusion.
