Jon Anderson
بیوگرافی
'Jon Anderson' (qv) first joined a small British band, called 'The Warriors' (qv), in the mid-1960s. Towards the end of the decade, Anderson and bass guitarist 'Chris Squire' (qv) formed a progressive rock band called 'Yes' (qv). This band went on to have phenomenal success for 11 years. In 1980, Anderson left 'Yes' (qv) due to lengthy quarrels over which direction the band should take in the music. For several years, Anderson worked on some collaborative albums with Greek synthesizer composer 'Vangelis' (qv), as well as some solo albums. In 1983, Anderson returned to a reformed 'Yes' (qv), contributing lead vocals on the album "90125", which featured 'Yes' (qv)' only number one hit, "Owner of a Lonely Heart". After a brief departure from 'Yes' (qv) in the late 1980s, he returned, and the band continues to make albums to this day.::Rush Wickes <[email protected]>
