Jean-Jacques Annaud

'Jean-Jacques Annaud' (qv) is a French film director, screenwriter and producer, best known for directing _Quest for Fire (1981)_ (qv), _The Name of the Rose (1986)_ (qv), _The Lover (1992)_ (qv), _Seven Years in Tibet (1997)_ (qv) and _Wolf Totem (2015)_ (qv). Annaud has received numerous awards for his work, including four César 'Awards' (qv), one David di Donatello Award, and one National Academy of Cinema Award.
