Marguerite De La Motte

Marguerite de la Motte was trained as a dancer, reputedly by the great ballerina 'Anna Pavlova' (qv), and entered films in 1918. She played opposite 'Douglas Fairbanks' (qv) in many of his productions. Like many performers of the silent era, however, she was not able to sustain her career with the coming of talkies, and was soon relegated to smaller roles in minor productions.::[email protected]
