Gabriel Carrer

'Gabriel Carrer' (qv) (born May 21, 1981) is a Canadian film director, writer and producer. A graduate from the School of English and Theatre studies at the 'University of Guelph' and the 'Suzuki Method School of Music', 'Gabriel Carrer' (qv) has produced close to hundred music videos across North America which had rotation on Much Music, Much LOUD and MTV.In 2015 he won the Silver Audience Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival and Best Director at the Fantastic Planet Film Festival in Australia for his fifth film The Demolisher (2015). The film also premiered at SITGES, the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. In 2019, Gabriel and Angus McLellan directed a documentary entitled Underbelly produced by Brian Greif (Saving Banksy) . This documentary explores the world's best-kept urban art secret with the world's leading urban artists, such as Ron English, Swoon, Faile, Revok, Shepard Fairey and many others.In 2020, Raven Banner Entertainment & Federgreen Entertainment signed Gabriel to direct the action/siege/horror film 'For the Sake of Vicious' starring Lora Burke of Lifechanger (2018) & Poor Anges (2017).'Gabriel Carrer' (qv)'s full length credits include Desperate Souls (2004 Lions Gate), Kill (2005 Troma Entertainment), If a Tree Falls (2010 Raven Banner Entertainment) and In the House of Flies (2012 Latefox Pictures / Black Fawn Films) featuring punk rock icon and social commentator Henry Rollins as "The Voice" and Death On Scenic Drive (2017).
