Ronnie Prouty

'Ronnie Prouty' (qv) was born Ronald George Sarquiz III in Burbank, CA. He is the son of Laura Marie Kinikin (Prouty) and Ronald George Sarquiz II. His ancestry is English, Scottish, Polish, Ashkenazi Jewish and Lebanese. His mother is from Long Island, New York and his father from California. His parents separated at a very young age, he was raised by his mother in New York, Florida and Los Angeles.After completing residency training at the Second City, Los Angeles, he moved to London, UK to further his acting studies. Performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and doing local theatre in London, he gained traction with his live show "Beat Off, Dirty Yanks." Upon moving back to Los Angeles, he began a career as an actor and writer taking leading man roles in many independent films, winning awards as both a writer and actor.In his spare time, Ronnie is an avid surfer and boxing enthusiast.
