Cross was also seen in _Strangers with Candy (2005)_ (qv), co-starring 'Amy Sedaris' (qv), 'Stephen Colbert' (qv), 'Paul Dinello' (qv), and 'Greg Hollimon' (qv). The prequel to the Comedy Central series of the same name, the film was directed by 'Paul Dinello' (qv) and debuted at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews.Cross can be seen in the 'Clint Eastwood' (qv)-directed _Flags of Our Fathers (2006)_ (qv), which was released in August 2006 and _Running with Scissors (2006)_ (qv), where he is reunited with 'Brian Cox' (qv).Cross's other feature film credits include the 1998 thriller _Desperate Measures (1998)_ (qv), where he appeared with 'Brian Cox' (qv) for the first time, directed by 'Barbet Schroeder' (qv) and co-starring 'Michael Keaton' (qv).
