Clare Grant

'Clare Grant' (qv) first appeared on film, opposite 'Joaquin Phoenix' (qv), in a small, but pivotal role in the Academy-winning film, _Walk the Line (2005)_ (qv), while still earning her theater degree in Memphis, TN, where she grew up. While in college, she met 'Craig Brewer' (qv), who cast her in her several indy films, before casting her in _Black Snake Moan (2006)_ (qv), and later as the lead in his MTV series, _$5 Cover (2009)_ (qv). Before moving to LA to pursue acting full-time, Clare modeled in Europe for Elite Model Management. Quickly after her move, she landed a leading role on the Emmy- winning Showtime series, _Masters of Horror (2005)_ (qv), followed by several film, television and voice-over roles.As a producer, Clare co-created and starred in the short film, _Saber (2009)_ (qv), which won two LucasFilm Fan Film 'Awards' (qv) for Best Action and Audience Choice. With her creative partners in "Team Unicorn", she creates and produces viral sensations, such "G33K & G4M3R Girls", which stirred controversy over its sexy portrayal of the geek girls, and an animation, live-action hybrid television show for "Adult Swim".::B.
