T.K. Carter

'T.K. Carter' (qv) was raised just east of Los Angeles, California. He began his stand-up routine at age 12, and, by high school, appeared in 'Neil Simon' (qv)'s production of "The Odd Couple." He began his professional stand-up routine at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and has also worked at the Improvisation Cafe and Ye Little Club. His first role was in an episode of _Police Woman (1974)_ (qv), and starred in the Los Angeles Actors Theatre's version of "Sisters." He has since appeared in such films as _Space Jam (1996)_ (qv), _A Rage in Harlem (1991)_ (qv) and _Ski Patrol (1990)_ (qv).::Matt Dicker
