Martin W. Andersen is an award-winning filmmaker originating from Copenhagen, Denmark. After graduating from The European Film College, he earned his Masters in Directing at The American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles where he received The Board of Trustee Award. His thesis film STUCK (2011) won 10 awards at prestigious film festivals like The Minneapolis International Film 'Awards' (qv), Los Angeles Movie 'Awards' (qv), and California Film 'Awards' (qv), among others.Martin has worked professionally in Film and Television since 1995 as a director, writer, producer, editor and cinematographer on more than 60 documentaries, animated feature films and TV Shows in 12 different countries. His work in TV ranges from current affair content such as war documentaries and news, to entertainment content such as comedy series, Reality TV and travel series. Among these, he has created, written and directed the adult puppet series RADIO KAREN (2011) and was hired by Google to create and direct the web-series INGRESS REPORT (2013).Martin has directed 20 comedy, drama and thriller films through the last 17 years, such as the feature film 100 GHOST STREET (2012) and short films like the award winning THE SACRIFICE (2009), THAT'S LIFE (2009) and REVELATIONS (2011). He has written 15 feature scripts and TV series like THE UNWELCOME (2014) and HATE (2015). This Summer, he directed and executive produced, wrote season one of URBAN NIGHTMARES (2017) and executive produced and wrote CAMPFIRE CREEPERS (2017) directed by Alex Aja starring Robert Englund.
