Matt Frewer

'Matt Frewer' (qv) has been travelling all over North America in recent months filming recurring roles. Most recently, he worked in Los Angeles for HBO's Perry Mason and in Austin for AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. In Vancouver portrayed Carnage in Netflix's sci-fi drama _Altered Carbon (2018)_ (qv); in Montreal (opposite 'Dennis Quaid' (qv)) as Anthony Bruhl in NBC's _Timeless (2016)_ (qv); in Toronto as Paul Rice in Crackle's _The Art of More (2015)_ (qv), and also in Toronto as Dr. Leekie on BBC America's award-winning _Orphan Black (2013)_ (qv); and in Brooklyn, New York as Dr. J. M. Christiansen in 'Steven Soderbergh' (qv)'s gritty early-20th century hospital drama _The Knick (2014)_ (qv).Frewer's film credits include 'Steven Spielberg' (qv)'s _The BFG (2016)_ (qv), 20th Century Fox's _Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014)_ (qv), _50/50 (2011)_ (qv) (with 'Seth Rogen' (qv) and 'Joseph Gordon-Levitt' (qv)), _Foreverland (2011)_ (qv), _Frankie & Alice (2010)_ (qv) (with 'Halle Berry' (qv)), and as Moloch in 'Zack Snyder' (qv)'s _Watchmen (2009)_ (qv). He appeared in Snyder's 2004 film, _Dawn of the Dead (2004)_ (qv). He filmed _Attack on Darfur (2009)_ (qv) in South Africa and played the lead in the action/adventure film _Wushu Warrior (2011)_ (qv), which was filmed in China. Other work on the big screen includes playing "Big Russ Thompson" in _Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)_ (qv), and 'Job' (qv)e Smith, the nefarious computer genius in _Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996)_ (qv). Frewer starred in four Sherlock Holmes films for Muse Entertainment, CTV and the Odyssey Channel.He performed leading roles in numerous television movies & miniseries, including 'Nick Willing' (qv)'s _Alice (2009)_ (qv) (as the White Knight; for which he was nominated for a Gemini Award). He reunited with 'Nick Willing' (qv) to play Daedalus in 13 episodes of _Olympus (2015)_ (qv). Frewer starred in the television miniseries _Delete (2013)_ (qv) for Brightlight Pictures, A&E's miniseries _Bag of Bones (2011)_ (qv) with 'Pierce Brosnan' (qv), Hallmark's _Eine total verrückte Bescherung (2010)_ (qv), and in Spielberg's _Taken (2002)_ (qv).
