Jane Brody

'Jane Brody' (qv), CSA (ret) actress, writer, acting teacher, professional acting coach, and former director of 'Jane Brody' (qv) Casting in Chicago tours internationally as a Master Acting Teacher for professional and pre-professional actors. She won the CSA's Artios award for Best Location Casting for her work on the film "Fargo." As an actress, Jane received the Los Angeles Weekly's Best Actress Award for her work in "Absent Friends" at the Merle Oberon Theatre. Jane served as Assistant to Michael Shurtleff for several years. Jane was an associate professor of Theatre at the Theatre School, Depaul University. Prior to that time, she was head of undergraduate acting at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jane has written two books "The Actor's Business Plan: A Career Guide for the Acting Life" Bloomsbury Press, Oct of 2015 and "Acting, Archetype and Neuroscience: Superscenes for Rehearsal and Performance" Routledge Press, 2016.::Anonymous
