Stacey Dash

'Stacey Dash' (qv) was born in the Bronx, New York. Stacy knew that she wanted to act, and from an early age began to act professionally. She made regular appearances on _The Cosby Show (1984)_ (qv), _The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)_ (qv), and also _St. Elsewhere (1982)_ (qv). At 21 she made her feature film debut in _Enemy Territory (1987)_ (qv), which was quickly followed by _Moving (1988)_ (qv), in which she played 'Richard Pryor' (qv)'s teenage daughter. Four years later she was in _Mo' Money (1992)_ (qv), with 'Damon Wayans' (qv). In 1994 she starred with 'Mark Wahlberg' (qv) in _Renaissance Man (1994)_ (qv). In 1995 she did the provocative erotic thriller _Illegal in Blue (1995)_ (qv) and later that year got her big break when was cast as Dionne in the hit comedy _Clueless (1995)_ (qv). She went on to star in the UPN sitcom _Clueless (1996)_ (qv) that was based on the movie, and which lasted for two years. During that time she completed 'Oliver Stone' (qv)'s _Cold Around the Heart (1997)_ (qv) and also the independent film _Personals (1999)_ (qv). After leaving "Clueless" in 1999, Stacey seems to be moving along nicely. She has recently appeared in _The Painting (2001)_ (qv) and _Paper Soldiers (2002)_ (qv).::[email protected]
