Jamie Anne Allman

Jamie Anne Brown was born in Parsons, Kansas (also the birthplace of the legendary and brilliant, but sadly underestimated, actress 'Zasu Pitts' (qv)). The eldest of five siblings, from a very early age, Brown dreamed of becoming an actress. Pursuing this dream, she moved to Los Angeles.One of her very first roles was a recurring part on _The Shield (2002)_ (qv). Soon after, she made her feature film debut with a supporting role in _The Notebook (2004)_ (qv) as "Martha Shaw". Later, known as Jamie Allman, she booked roles on top television series, including _Monk (2002)_ (qv), _Bones (2005)_ (qv), _Saving Grace (2007)_ (qv), _CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000)_ (qv), and _The Closer (2005)_ (qv), among others. In addition to season two of _The Killing (2011)_ (qv), she was seen in the independent feature films _The Last Rites of Joe May (2011)_ (qv) and _Any Day Now (2012)_ (qv).In her spare time, Allman supports a variety or organizations involving mentally disabled adults. She resides with her husband, actor 'Marshall Allman' (qv) (whom she married in 2006) and three children in Los Angeles.::RM Sieger
