248, a film which is a pilot project of the format of BIOPORTRAIT. BIOPORTRAIT is the 'taxonomic' name given by the authors to their research on the possibility of transposing the biographical portrait in film, into a new multifaceted narrative genre. An instrument that aims to tell the extraordinary nature of reality by identifying the elements that make the life of each of us a unique and authentic story. Experimentation ; In the format of BIOPORTRAIT, which refers to the values and the historical evolution of the portrait, recombining the codes of cinema - both sonorous and silent - and of art - painting, photography and video art - in a dreamlike narration of images, sounds and texts in a combination of a film and an installation. 248 seconds is a biographical portrait of Massimo Montini, the first of a series of movies belonging to the BioPortrait genre. The tale of a mental apnea. The apnea, obsession and discipline of the protagonist, is here a metafor of an existence that tells the tale. A sudden dive, towards the pro-found.
